You probably forgot you subscribed to this :). It's the short newsletter I write most Saturdays about all things data visualization.
We're almost 20k here now, and this summer I finally built a little website to host every past issue.
Btw, I'm Yan
A bit of humanity in this very digital world: my name is Yan and I've been deeply passionate about dataviz for a loooong time.
I'm a real human, still in the Alps, soon in the South of France back to work.
I've spent an unreasonable amount of my free time writing about Viz on free, open source sites like Data To Viz, Dataviz Inspiration and the 4 graph galleries. β That's probably how you ended up here!
What's coming this year
Besides my consulting work I'll keep sharing my thoughts and my obsession with graphs. β Here's what can help you:
Daily posts on LinkedIn. If you can cut through the noise, there are good discussions happening there, and it's a great source of great charts. β
This newsletter, weekly. Short, one topic, every Saturday. β
A full revamp of Data To Viz. There are so many chart types missing, and the caveat gallery will double in size with dedicated flash cards. β
βDataviz Inspiration, growing fast. With AI, tech is not the tricky part anymore. Design is. So I believe this project is more helpful than ever: it's the best way to develop your design eye! β
A sample of the charts I added this summer :)
New cohort for D3 Loves React, my course on building bespoke charts. In the AI era, D3.js is the tool everyone is going to switch to. Previous students have had wild results, and I'm happy to announce early bird enrollment is now open!

Let's do it! π§βπ»
I hope you're as excited about this year as I am.
If you have any questions/suggestions/ideas... just hit reply. I answer everyone, between two baby bottles. πΌ
Next week I plan to list a few of the best charts I've seen this summer.
Talk soon!

PS: I'm fighting with email delivery algorithms. Could you reply with just "hello" in your own language? It would help me soooo much. π
PPS: This summer I traveled with HomeExchange, a site where people swap homes, no money involved. I'm a huge fan, it worked so well. If you want to try it, use my referral code and you'll get bonus nights.
